Meet Apostle Jose Rivera, a man who has walked through the darkest of valleys and emerged into the light of redemption. Once addicted to illicit substances, Jose's life had spiraled out of control. He stole from his family, slept on park benches, and sold drugs to support his habits.
But in the midst of his despair, an elderly missionary spoke words of hope into Jose's life: "One day, God will use you to become a preacher." Jose didn't believe it then, but those words would become the catalyst for his transformation.
After a near-death experience, Jose accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior, and his life began to change. Over time, he was completely transformed, much to the delight of his family.
Today, Jose is the founder of King's Table Ministries, where he operates an outreach program for individuals dealing with substance addictions. He has also written a book, "From Park Bench to the King's Table," which tells his story and offers hope to those struggling with addiction and trauma.
